The Farm welcomes playschemes and other organizations working with young people, including children with disabilities. Children will have the opportunity to interact with the animals and explore nature and the environment. We have community gardens, a wildlife pond and approximately 50 animals, including goats, sheep, 3 horses, ducks, chickens, geese, a pig and a cow.
We offer two types of group tours:
Guided Tours – cost £75 for max of 25 children plus adults which includes your tour guide and use of the classroom for lunch.
Self Directed Tours – cost £30 for a max of 25 children plus adults and includes use of the classroom for lunch.
Health & Safety
The Health & Safety Executive provide information regarding farm visits for schools and others who organise visits for children. Before bringing your group please go to Visit My Farm and download the updated 2015 Code of Practice – Essential Advice to Teachers and Others. Please ensure your group organiser reads the advice to reduce potential risks when visiting farms.
