Riding Therapy Programme
We have been offering professional Riding Therapy to young people with disabilities for more than 45 years. We serve children with autism, learning disability and physical disabilities, including those who cannot walk or with limited mobility.
Our para hoist, funded by the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People and the Shanly Foundation, allows us to provide a broad range of Riding for the Disabled services. You can see the hoist in action at http://bit.ly/ktcf-hoist
Kentish Town City Farm is an approved riding centre by both the Riding for the Disabled Association and the British Horse Society.
Riding therapy sessions last 30 minutes each. The rider is given personalised attention from our senior instructor as well as the supervision of trained riding team members who walk on either side for maximum benefit and ensure the safety of all involved.
Please call 020 7916 5421 if you have inquiries or would like details of costs and bookings.
The farm welcomes volunteers experienced with horses to support staff with our riding programmes. If you are interested please email firstname.lastname@example.org
