Summer Rides for Children’s Groups
During the summer we offer riding sessions to visiting groups. Playschemes and other organisations working with young people are welcome to bring children for a riding session during the school holidays. Children must be a minimum of four years old. Boots and hats can be provided as necessary.
Kentish Town City Farm is an approved riding centre by both the Riding for the Disabled Association and the British Horse Society. All sessions are professionally run and can be tailored to suit the individual needs of your group.
Sessions cost £120 for groups of up to twelve children.
Booking is essential, please call 020 7916 5421 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Health & Safety
The Health & Safety Executive provide information regarding farm visits for schools. Before bringing your group please go to Visit My Farm and download the updated 2015 Industry Code of Practice – Essential Advice to Teachers and Others. Please ensure your group organiser reads the advice to reduce potential risks when visiting farms. Visiting groups are expected to wash their hands upon entering and leaving the Farm. There are three warm water handwashing stations across the site.
