Why Volunteer?

Musician VolunteerSupport a much valued community project with your skills

Kentish Town City Farm is a charity providing education, therapy and creative activities. It developed out of the needs of people living in an inner city area to connect with animals, nature and the environment. Each year we reach over 30,000 people with hands-on services, community events and free access to green space.

We welcome people from all walks of life to help out with our busy programme of activities. Volunteers of all ages and abilities work alongside farm staff in a variety of roles, both on a regular basis or at one-off events, such as our seasonal farm festivals.

There are opportunities for young people to help with animal care activities through the Young Farmers Club and our Work Experience programme. Adults with equine skills to share can also support staff in our programme of riding activities.

Volunteering has all sorts of benefits: expanding your CV, developing and sharing your skills & knowledge, meeting new people, as well as enjoying nature & farm life in the middle of Camden. To offer your skills or make an inquiry about any of our volunteering opportunities email volunteering@ktcityfarm.org.uk

We also welcome applications to join our Trustee board and help to run the farm for the benefit of the local community. To enquire about this opportunity or to apply to become a trustee, please email director@ktcityfarm.org.uk
