Summer Playscheme

summer playscheme 2017Four weeks of summer fun, 30th July – 24th August


We are pleased to announce the return of the Summer Holiday Playscheme for ages 8 to 14. This fully supervised programme is a unique blend of animal care, cookery, art and play, and offers city children an opportunity to spend time outdoors and try their hand at rural life.

Dates: Monday 30th July – Friday 24th August (4 weeks)
Time: 9am – 5pm
Cost: per week £70 (full rate) / £25 (concessions)

Bookings are available on a weekly, Monday to Friday basis only. The fee includes a sit down lunch 4 days per week at the farm and is inclusive of a weekly day trip out on Wednesdays (children will need to bring their own packed lunch).

Visit Us

We are open to visitors every day of the week 9-5pm and entry is free. The farm has goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, geese, 3 horses, 2 donkeys, a pig and a cow, as well as community gardens and a wildlife pond. Getting to the farm

Free parking on Grafton Road after 11AM (M-F) and all day at weekends.
Pay and display parking on Queen’s Crescent & Vicarage Road (useful on busier market days, Thurs & Sat).
