Summer Farm Playscheme
Include arts & crafts, games, animal care, horse care, gardening, cooking, woodwork, pottery and weekly trips out.
Runs: Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm
Open: to all children age 8 to 16
Delivered: by experienced Farm staff with volunteer support (all staff & volunteer positions DBS checked).
Morning 9am to 11am: Children work together to feed the animals, turn them out to pasture and muck out their pens, whilst others prepare lunch.
Lunchtime 12:15 – 1:00pm: Children sit down together to eat.
Afternoon 1pm to 4pm: Different activities will be offered each day. Activities include goat grooming, arts & crafts, wood working and bushcraft.
4pm to 5pm: Children will help put the animals to bed.
Wednesdays – Trip out (cost £5 max). Please provide your child with a packed lunch.
How to book
Can be made for full weeks £40/£15 (Mon to Fri) or on a daily basis £8/£3 (not available on Wednesday).

Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, cheque or cash but must be in advance of the date of booking to guarantee a place.

Free parking on Grafton Road after 11AM (M-F) and all day at weekends. Pay and display parking on Queen’s Crescent & Vicarage Road (useful on busier market days, Tue/Th & Sat).
