This workshop will outline the permaculture approach to maximising yield by designing a multi-functional tiny, outdoor space. Susannah Hall, Garden Educator at Kentish Town City Farm and Permablitz London organiser won Camden in Bloom Best Mini-Garden in 2021 for her sixth floor balcony where she grew 50 different plants, had a wormery to compost kitchen waste, a space for natural dyeing and kept quails.

This permablitz is being organised as part of the partnership between Kentish Town City Farm and Permablitz London. We will be installing a permaculture design for the pond area at Kentish Town City Farm that is child and wildlife friendly, immersive, visually pleasing, and creates a new space for the public to enjoy at the farm.
At the permablitz we will be adding plants providing food and habitat for wildlife, that will also provide colour and foraging opportunities, organised into permaculture guilds. We will be installing a wood chip path, a hammock, and seating areas. We will also be creating an irrigation system.
This permablitz is installing the permaculture design that was created on the Permablitz London Introduction to Permablitz Design Course course held between May and July at Kentish Town City Farm and Cecil Sharp House.
Mini-workshops will include:
