for our Apple Day event on
Sunday 23rd October (12- 4pm).

donations in by 2pm on the day
of the event & don't forget to

We are looking for volunteers to help out with our Apple Day event taking place OD Sunday 23rd October, from noon to 4pm, doing face-painting, running art & craft activities, helping to run some games etc.

prizes prior to the event.

We are celebrating our 50th year and on Apple Day we hope to create a big 50 on the ground using natural objects. So we'd love you to take a stroll in your local park. garden or forest and look for
anything natural that bas colour or texture, or is an interesting shape: acorns, conkers, autumn leaves,
flowers, orange peel, twigs, stones and the like. It's a lovely way to spend an afternoon and it's amazing what you find once you start looking!

Harvest Permablitz on Saturday 17th September

Come and join our lunch and activities!

Garden at Kentish Town City Farm

Come and join this harvest permablitz at Kentish Town City Farm. As well as having a celebration lunch using produce from the garden we will have workshops in the morning on:

Setting up a rainwater harvesting system
Planting green manures and forage for animals on the farm
Setting up a hotbin composting system
Creating simple wicking planters and planting with autumn salads.

Afternoon Children’s activities from 2pm will include:

Meet our mini-beasts
Natural dyeing
Making felt from our sheep’s wool
Nature art

This event will be part of Capital Growth’s Urban Harvest (#UrbanHarvest2022)

Lettuce — The lettuce growing in the ‘wicking beds’: we’ll be making some more ‘wicking beds’ with a watering reservoir on Saturday and planting autumn salads in them so come along to find out how to make them

Our free creative maths drop-in sessions are aimed at children aged 4 to 12 and their grown-ups. Every session is different – colour, create and enjoy a challenge! Each month has a unique theme such as patterns, shapes, measuring, logical thinking – all using maths, always lots of fun. Find out more here.
