The farm is running a series of educational workshops to teach young people about ways to live sustainably.
The workshops are open to different age groups (8yrs-12yrs and 13yrs-18yrs). They are free to attend and all materials are provided, but you need to register so we know numbers attending. Parents are welcome to stay.

For this workshop, students will learn to stitch and embroider fabric using naturally dyed and reclaimed material. You will make a bookmark while also learning techniques that can be used to upcycle and venerate damaged garments, referencing the Japanese tradition of Shashiko and Boro, where something old is given new life and respect through decorative mending.
This workshop is for young people aged 12yrs-18yrs. Parents are welcome to stay and help.
The workshop is free to attend but it is essential that you register your child(ren’s) place. So if you’d like to come along please complete the registration form here:
